Economy and Lockdown : Relation Exposed

Well, hello again! To be honest, I sort of feel like one of those ridiculous weather forecasters standing on the dock as a hurricane whips through. Yes, economic numbers are bad. Yes, it’s likely to get worse before it gets better. At this point, the likelihood we’re headed into a recession is basically a given. Why aren’t we there already? Because a “recession” is generally described as a period of two consecutive quarters when GDP goes down, simply put, too little time has passed to make it official. There have been 33 recessions in the US since 1854, with 4 occurring after 1980. So, while they’re not a whole lot of fun, they are a pretty normal part of the business cycle. But lately, you may have heard another word floating around. Depression. Oh my...! OK OK, before we start freaking out, let’s get a clear picture of what a depression actually looks like and see what history has to teach us about softening the blow. Let’s start with the text-book definition of what

FICTION VS NON FICTION BOOK

So I like to think that I read a lot of books but actually the majority of what I read is fiction rather than kind of useful productivity books. So I always have a fantasy series going inaudible these days.  The Wheel of Time series and I've always got some sort of paranormal romance type of genre book on Kindle that I read before bed these days are quarter the 1 in roses but as a self-professed productivity grease monkey I've often wondered is reading fiction a waste of time or is it actually good for you like I feel bad about watching TV or playing video games because it feels like a waste of time.  But I would easily stay up until 4 o'clock in the morning reading about some werewolf and how he's fallen in love with this like girl with psychic powers, Stranger things happen every day like clearly that's not productive either. But for some reason reading feels more legit than watching TV. So in this episode of journal club the series where we look at sc

TINY CHANGES, DELICIOUS RESULTS.

If we want to change your lives we're often told that we need to think big, make drastic changes or perhaps even move across continents but what if we could achieve major transformations just through small tweaks to our daily routines, we all tend to overestimate the importance of single actions and underestimate the power of making small improvements repetitively over a longer period of time. Real change comes from the compound effects of hundreds of small decisions or small habits that over time accumulate to produce remarkable results, changing the lifestyles behaviors and identities. We're talking about Atomic Habits by James  Which is all about the power and process of building good habits and breaking bad ones through examples from sports, business and education along with evidence from psychology and neuroscience. The book explains the science and practical implications of how tiny habits and minuscule changes can grow into life-altering outcomes

WHAT AM I ?

A nd it’s been 23 years since am a Hindu i.e. probably by the birth. Very first I was quite a Hindu and followed every rituals which have been taught by my parents. When you gradually grown up you start questing everything when no one is there to answer your questions. Further, I was started not to even belief in God. I am a believer, despite a period of schoolboy atheist. I am proud of the history of my faith in my own words. Every morning, for longer than I can remember, I have begun my day with the prayers which was learnt by me without even knowing what it states. What is the meaning of `Hinduism’ ? Hinduism is just an experience of a culture better say an ancient culture which was in existence well before our born and is still here and will remain even after decades of death.  The word `Hindu’ did not exist in any Indian language till its use by foreigners gave Indians a term for self-definitions. Hindu thoughts also makes a ritual out of the unknowabilit
