" Your present decides what your future would be and your present is designed by your habits. If you can change your habits, you can probably change your future. "
What we all do its not are decisions, actually it's all are habits which form our lives.
This book is basically a summary of Interviews, which sometimes may work or may not.
This book will teach you how a habit works. Habit works in a loop.
Firstly we have been TRIGGERED, the follow some kind of ROUTINE and at end we got our REWARD, which completes are habit.
This book has been divided into three parts:
1️⃣ The Habits of Individuals
Which involves stories of Chain smokers, Alcoholics, Nail Bitters and Over Eaters. This part helps us to quit are habits which are not worthy to carry forward.
2️⃣ The Habits of Successful Organisations
This part has amazing described how Starbucks and other organisations able to became one of the World's successful companies.
3️⃣ The Habits of Societies
The societies also has some habits which are eliminated with the help of physiological experiments.
🙋 My take:
After reading this book. First thought I got in my mind is that though this book has lots kf practical examples and interviews, still this book lacks the practicality aspects.
This book is just a summary of interviews as I said earlier, which is impressive but what's the benefit of those examples and interviews if reader is not able to change his/her habits.
Author has lots of information to describe, but due to some kind of rush, Information is not fully explained.
I would recommend this book a read, but don't guarantee a powerful read to change your habit for which you are thinking of reading this.
